Museum of the village

The Museum of the village is a celebration of the traditions and folklore of Romania. It is situated inside the Herăstrău Park , and includes fine examples of traditional wooden churches and houses, but also tissues with the typical patterns of the regions.

The national museum of the village Dimitrie Gusti is more than just an outdoor museum, it represents a monument of architecture, very useful to understand the architectural differences of Rumanian villages.

All monuments are original testimonies of the Rumanian traditions, and an important instrument for the preservation of the country cultural heritage.

The museum is housed in a rustic environment, which welcomes its guests with a warm atmosphere.
